Hey! sorry I havn't blogged for like half a YEAR! I am now riding at a farm in suffolk(I think) named pam herman farms. the head trainer Heather is awsome. she is so reanforcing. nothing is bad evrything is either good, perfect, or needs more practice, to her. all the people who ride there are so nice and offer help whenever you might need it. it's only 50$ per lesson. and you don't need to own a horse to ride there because they have school horses. they also board if you happen to have one. hear are some pics of pam herman farms and me and the Hanoverian warmblood I ride. her name is chloe and she has been boarding there for about 3 years.

Why I Need a Horse

Photo 21

I should have a horse. I am a horse fanatic. Although horses can be all lot of work there are many benefits.

The first benefit of having a horse is learning how to ride and take care of them. You learn essential lessons on how to keep your horse healthy and happy every day. The second benefit of having a horse is that you are entrusted with the well being of a life besides your own. I believe it is a good thing to learn what a big responsibility it is to keep your horse healthy happy and exercised. Having a horse also prepares you for when you have to take care of your self without your parents there to do it for you. The third benefit of having a horse is education. You learn how to ride and how be safe around horses all in all how to be a good equestrian.

In conclusion I should have a horse not just because it is fun but because I will learn responsibility. Without a doubt having a horse is fun and educational at the same time. A wonderful combination.

Kindness pays off

Here is my fable illustrating that kindness pays off.

There once was a boy named Jacob. Jacob was a small boy of 9 with dark black hair. Jacob's father told him to go and fetch some ducks from the pond so that they could eat. Before he arrived at the pond, Jacob found a baby raccoon on the forest floor. The baby was lost so Jacob looked around and saw a rotting tree stump. Deciding that this could be the raccoon's home he picked up the scrabbling baby and walked over to the stump. Up popped the mother raccoon chittering so much that it was clear that this was her baby. Jacob let the baby down in the stump and left to fetch the ducks.
When Jacob got home his father took the ducks in one hand and slammed the door in his face with the other! Wondering what had just happened, Jacob opened the window and saw his father making a delicious duck soup for himself and none for Jacob. Jacob was astounded his father would do something like this. Looking around, Jacob noticed that it was getting dark and he couldn't stand here all night. Jacob set off towards the pond in search of more ducks, As he past the hollow tree trunk the raccoon popped out and pulled him in. Surprised, but grateful, Jacob put lots of leaves over himself to keep himself warm and went to sleep. In the morning Jacob woke up the raccoons and told them to follow him to his house. When they got there he asked the raccoons to dig a passage beneath the house and into the living room. Jacob and the raccoons stood behind his unsuspecting father. The raccoons suddenly jumped high in the air and onto his father who was so surprised that he ran away screaming about the house being haunted by the ghost of two raccoons with rabies.

3 point paragraph - My favorite ways to enjoy a Saturday

Today, while we were doing Shurley English, I wrote this time ordered form of a 3 point paragraph. This was my first attempt at writing one.

I have three favorite ways to enjoy a Saturday. These ways are drawing a horse, coloring a picture and taking the dogs for a walk. First, I like to draw horses. I like drawing horses because they remind me of Mia, the horse I ride. Second, I like to color pictures. I never get bored coloring. I like to imagine different reasons why the pictures are the way they are. Third, I like to take the dogs for a walk. It is always fun to look at their faces and say what you think the dogs would be saying if they could speak.
I like to draw horses, color pictures and take the dogs for a walk because they all require imagination.

I love writing and Shurley English is teaching me how to write well.
